1. Ordering online
1.1 Product photographs are provided for illustrative purposes. Manufacturers may change a product’s design or packaging without prior notice. We make reasonable efforts to monitor such changes and display the most recent information available to us.
1.2 Actual product colours may differ slightly from those shown in photographs because of lighting conditions, photography or screen settings. A minor colour variation is not necessarily a product defect. This does not affect any statutory right of withdrawal or any rights relating to faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.
1.3 Manufacturers may change product specifications without prior notice. Where a change is material and known to us before fulfilment, we will inform you and, where appropriate, request your approval before proceeding.
1.4 After receiving an order, we check product availability with our suppliers. An automated order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your request but does not, by itself, guarantee availability or constitute final acceptance of the order.
1.5 To process and deliver an order, we require a valid telephone number and sufficient address details. If a conventional address is unavailable, you must provide clear directions and any other information reasonably required for delivery.
2. Prices
2.1 All prices displayed on the website are in euro.
2.2 Displayed retail prices include VAT where applicable.
2.3 Prices may change without prior notice.
2.4 Once an order has been accepted, the price recorded in that order will apply even if the website price changes afterwards. We reserve the right to correct an obvious pricing, typographical or technical error; in that case, we will contact you before proceeding and you may cancel the affected order for a full refund of any amount already paid.
3. Discounts and coupons
Home & Garden Cyprus may offer discounts and coupons subject to the rules stated with each promotion and the following general conditions.
3.1 A coupon may be used only during its stated validity period and in accordance with its specific conditions.
3.2 A coupon cannot be applied to a product that is already discounted unless the promotion expressly allows it.
3.4 Customers who meet criteria set by Home & Garden Cyprus may receive a personal or customer-group discount on eligible products.
3.5 We do not provide additional discounts merely upon request. The final selling price is the price displayed on the website or calculated by the valid promotion at checkout.
3.6 A personal discount or gift coupon may be used only by the person to whom it was issued. Publishing or sharing a personal code may result in its cancellation.
3.7 Public promotional coupons may be used by any customer who meets their stated conditions.
4. Payment
4.1 The payment methods currently available for an order are shown at checkout. They may include cash on delivery, card on delivery, online card payment, PayPal or bank transfer, depending on which methods are active and eligible for the order.
4.2 We do not collect or store complete card details. Online card and PayPal payments are processed within the secure systems and protocols of the relevant payment provider, such as Viva.com or PayPal.
4.3 We do not accept payment by cheque.
5. Delivery
5.1 Orders of 50.00 € or more qualify for free delivery across the areas controlled by the Republic of Cyprus, subject to the delivery conditions below and any product-specific information displayed before checkout.
5.2 When we receive and verify your order, we may contact you by telephone or email to arrange the delivery date and time.
5.3 We normally agree a delivery time window rather than an exact arrival time. We try to be as specific as reasonably possible, but traffic, route conditions and preceding deliveries may affect arrival.
5.4 You must read and follow the supplied manual, operating instructions and safety precautions where applicable. Damage or malfunction caused by failure to follow them may not be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. This does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5.5 Free door delivery does not include installation or assembly unless this is expressly stated for the product or agreed in writing.
5.6 For heavy, bulky or specialised products, free delivery may not include unloading or carrying the goods to a specific point within the premises. Delivery is normally made to a safe point accessible by the delivery vehicle. Heavy goods may not be carried over steps or lifted to another level unless this has been specifically agreed in advance.
5.7 Orders below 50.00 € may be delivered by courier to a pickup point in the customer’s town for a 5.00 € charge. The available payment methods for this delivery option are displayed at checkout. If none is suitable, please contact us before placing the order.
5.8 We do not deliver to areas outside the control of the Republic of Cyprus, PO boxes or other restricted or inaccessible areas.
5.9 Delivery should be received in person unless another arrangement has been agreed. For prepaid orders, you must provide the details of any alternative authorised recipient, such as a neighbour or household representative.
5.10 The recipient must be available at the agreed time. Our delivery team can normally wait only 5–10 minutes. If no authorised recipient appears, the team may leave and a new delivery arrangement or additional charge may be required.
6. Returns and refunds
6.1 A consumer who wishes to withdraw from an eligible online purchase may notify us within 14 days from the day after receiving the order, subject to the exceptions and conditions provided by applicable law.
6.2 Unless the goods are faulty, incorrectly supplied or we have agreed otherwise, you must arrange and pay for their return. Proof of purchase must be provided.
6.3 Returned goods must be unused, complete, in resalable condition and in their original packaging, to the extent that handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and operation may reduce the refundable amount as permitted by law.
6.4 For an eligible withdrawal made within the applicable period, we will refund the amount due in accordance with the law after receiving the goods or acceptable evidence that they have been returned.
6.5 The return policy protects customers purchasing online but does not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, improper installation or use contrary to the supplied instructions. Statutory rights concerning faulty goods remain unaffected.
6.6 If a product was supplied with a free or promotional item, all related items must be returned to receive a full refund, unless otherwise agreed.
6.7 We strongly recommend inspecting the goods and packaging before signing the delivery document. Visible damage should be reported to the driver and recorded on that document whenever possible. If inspection or testing is not reasonably possible at delivery, any subsequent malfunction will be handled under the applicable return, conformity or warranty procedure.
6.8 If we cannot supply an order within 14 days, we will inform you. You may agree to a revised delivery date or cancel the unavailable part or the entire order and receive a refund of the corresponding amount already paid.
6.9 A partial return and partial refund are possible where only part of an order is returned and the return is otherwise eligible.
6.10 Custom-made, assembled, personalised or cut-to-size products may require full prepayment and are not eligible for cancellation or return where the applicable law permits this exception, because they are prepared specifically for the customer. Rights relating to faulty or incorrectly supplied goods remain unaffected.
7. Warranty and after-sales service
7.1 If you have questions after receiving your order, contact us by telephone or email and we will provide the available support and guidance.
7.2 Home & Garden Cyprus will provide the information reasonably required to access the applicable service arrangements in Cyprus.
7.3 Our after-sales assistance applies to goods purchased from Home & Garden Cyprus. Products purchased elsewhere should be referred to their seller or manufacturer.
7.4 The applicable warranty period begins on the date shown on the proof of purchase, unless the relevant legal or manufacturer terms provide otherwise.
7.5 Proof of purchase is required for a warranty claim. Where an original paper receipt is unavailable, another reliable record of the transaction may be accepted where required by law or sufficient to verify the purchase.
7.6 In the event of a malfunction, contact us before attempting to open, modify or repair the product. An unauthorised repair attempt may invalidate the commercial manufacturer’s warranty where it caused or contributed to the fault.
7.7 Products covered by a manufacturer’s warranty will be assessed and, where the claim is accepted, repaired or otherwise handled by the authorised service centre in Cyprus in accordance with the applicable warranty terms.
7.8 The customer is responsible for following all operating instructions, maintenance requirements and safety precautions supplied with the product.
7.9 When a product is submitted for service, transport and inspection charges may initially be payable by the customer. If an eligible warranty fault is confirmed, charges covered by the warranty will be handled accordingly. If the issue was caused by misuse or is otherwise outside warranty, the customer will be informed of any parts and labour cost before a chargeable repair proceeds. Inspection and transport charges may remain payable subject to applicable law.
7.10 Unless otherwise agreed or required by law, delivery of the product to and from the service centre is the customer’s responsibility.
7.11 Consumer purchases are covered by the statutory conformity guarantee applicable under Cyprus and European Union law, including the minimum period provided by that law. Any manufacturer’s commercial warranty is additional and does not replace statutory rights.
7.12 Products purchased for professional or commercial use, or invoiced to a business, may not qualify as consumer purchases. In such cases, the manufacturer’s or official distributor’s commercial warranty terms apply together with any rights that remain applicable by law.
8. Other terms and conditions
8.1 Home & Garden Cyprus may refuse or cancel an order for a lawful reason, including unavailability, inability to deliver, suspected fraud, an obvious pricing error or failure to obtain payment. Where appropriate, we will inform the customer and refund any amount already collected for the cancelled goods.
8.2 We may send promotional offers where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time. Necessary transactional messages about orders, payments or accounts are not marketing communications.
9. Privacy policy
9.1 Personal information is treated confidentially and used in accordance with applicable data-protection law.
9.2 We do not sell personal details. Information may be shared with third parties only where necessary to provide the requested service—such as payment, delivery, hosting or technical-support providers—or where required by law.
9.3 K.A ALL ABOUT HOME AND GARDEN LTD applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No online system can guarantee absolute security; if a personal-data breach occurs, we will follow the notification and response obligations imposed by applicable law.
